Thailand electronic passport

In 2023 for Thailand’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Thales designed a passport that reflects the very best of Thailand’s landmarks, while also integrating multiple class-leading security features. The passport is a 66-page story book that conveys a sense of pride for the holder. End-to-end passport system, including enrolment (face, fingerprint, iris), the Identity Management System, PKI, ABIS, and issuance systems. Thales is responsible for day-to-day operation of the programme and meeting SLA (Service Level Agreement) demands defined by MoFA.

Mauritius eID

In 2022, the Mauritius Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) entrusted Thales with a 10-year contract  to migrate the national ID to most advanced polycarbonate card with colour picture and provide together with local partners e2e identity solutions including preregistration, enrolment, selfservice kiosks, issuance, post issuance and Digital ID solutions.

Oman national eID and electronic Passport

Since 2013, Thales has been providing an end-to-end solution to the Sultanate for the new electronic passport. The turnkey solution encompasses ICAO compliant ePassport documents, and a full Solution Suite to enrol citizens, personalize and issue secure documents. Issuance scheme is hybrid, instant issuance for eID Card and centralized for the electronic passport.
