Green operations
Thales has set up a dedicated Green Operations structure that brings together Avionics and Air Traffic Management expertise to address the challenge of reducing the impact of aviation on the climate. Thales notably aims to contribute to a 10% reduction through the optimization of flight operations.
Thales鈥檚 objective is to deliver solutions that have a minimal impact on existing in-service systems, enabling aeronautical stakeholders to act now. To achieve this we are capitalizing on the deployment of digital non-safety critical systems across airlines and air traffic management players in order to enhance digital collaboration between them, leading to better anticipation, data sharing and flight optimization, with limited additional workload.
PureFlyt Flight Management System
Thales鈥檚 PureFlyt is the most powerful Flight Management System (FMS) solution available today. PureFlyt minimizes crew workload, fatigue, and human error through ease of use, an intuitive interface, and improved decision-making. PureFlyt also optimizes aircraft trajectory to minimize fuel consumption and reduce noise pollution.
PureFlyt is easier to use and more intuitive to operate than other FMS. PureFlyt computes a complete trajectory and predictions from take-off to the final approach: "What you see is what you fly!鈥. PureFlyt responds to inputs five to ten times faster than any other FMS, meaning pilots focus more on flying the aircraft than waiting for a FMS response.
FlytX cockpit avionics
FlytX is the new-generation suite of tactile flight decks for helicopters and airplanes. The modular solution is crew-centric, compact, customizable and fully connected.
The FlytX solution offers new ways of flying for all kinds of missions, incorporating secure connected avionics, delivering an enhanced pilot experience, capitalizing on integrated and compact avionics, and utilizing a rugged design that can be used in all conditions.

Thales is developing intelligent digital assistants in response to the increased focusing of human resources on their strategic and decision-making added values, the rising use of intelligent automation at the service of the human being, and the ever-greater levels of ground/board collaboration thanks to increasingly available, reliable and cyber-secure connectivity.
The product is a new generation of intelligent assistants capable of intervening in critical operations, capitalizing on high-level human-system interface technologies that enable the pilot to interact with the AI, and drawing on connectivity and computing technologies that combine the best of the aeronautical and IT worlds to support the very high level of performance required by the airspace world.
