He was appointed a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in the 2014 New Year Honours for services to Broadcasting and Music. He has played in Ibiza since 1991, ending his four-year Ibiza residency at Pacha to launch Wonderland Ibiza at Eden. He has especially  played a crucial role in breaking new artists and changing the way people think about electronic music.
