Bringing together best-in-class Providers of High-Capacity Line-Of-Sight (HCLOS)
Smaller, lighter, more mobile and more flexible
The Thales and Ultra Electronics TCS partnership announced early last year is continuing to bear fruit in HCLOS for the battlefield. The partnership has released two new HCLOS radios, the T.N. 4105 and T.N.4107 that complement the already successful T.N. 4110 High Capacity Band III+/IV Radio released last year.
It is designed for Point-to-Point connections with speeds of up to 200 Mbps full-duplex and Point-to-Multipoint connections with speeds of up to 80Mbps full-duplex shared between all the links. With its compact design, it is adapted for On-The-Move and On-The-Pause operations, and for both land and sea operations. It also accepts a waveform (mesh).
The new T.N. 4105 is half the weight and volume of the T.N. 4110. Integrating only one channel, it is ideal for vehicular integration. It is designed to be used at the extremity of Multipoint communications and also enables mesh mode between vehicles.
The T.N. 4107 has the same form factor and is also a single channel unit. This model is designed as a radio node of the Point-to-Multipoint configuration and also enables high-speed Point to Point connections.
This extended product family places Thales and Ultra Electronics TCS in a unique position to accommodate all customer needs no matter what the topology, band III+ or IV or the operational use. These releases come and reinforce Thales鈥檚 NEXIUM Theatre solution dedicated to delivering resilient and secure connectivity to users all over the theatre.
