The company established a presence in the city-state back in the 1970s, with a small team that was exclusively dedicated to avionics for regional airlines. •   Designed with contactless technologies, the upgraded Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) gates will make the public transport system more efficient and inclusive by giving a smoother journey to all commuters.
•   Thales will modernise and standardise 1,350 AFC gates for MRT lines over the next 7 years, including Singapore’s oldest North-South & East-West Lines and the upcoming Jurong Region Line for more than 2 million daily passengers.
