Thales helps Singapore鈥檚 aviation industry take flight
Air traffic growth in the Asia-Pacific region is set to take off in a big way, soaring through the next decade and beyond. From now till 2035, the region will see the fastest spurt in air traffic demand, at a growth rate of 4.7% or an additional 1.8 billion passengers annually, according to estimates from International Air Transport Association (IATA). Four of the five fastest growing passenger-volume markets are projected to come out of Asia, namely, China, India, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Strategically located at the heart of this region, Singapore stands within this nexus of growth. The city state鈥檚 renowned efficiency, supported by its world-class airport facilities and aviation management systems are not only well-placed to benefit from the region鈥檚 aviation growth, but will help power the region鈥檚 potential.
