Happy 25th birthday to our partner TIMC!
On 16th November, Microwave & Imaging Sub-Systems (MIS) was at the World Trade Center in Grenoble to celebrate the 25th birthday of industrial partner TIMC (Techniques of Medical Engineering & Complexity). With a stand at the event on which to showcase our latest radiology products and innovations developed with our partner, it was the perfect opportunity to show what collaboration can achieve!

TIMC is a joint research unit shared by four institutions: the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS); University Grenoble Alpes (UGA); Campus Veterinaire de Lyon (Vetagro Sup); and the Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP) and an institutional partner with the Grenoble University Hospital Center (CHU Grenoble Alpes). The research done by TIMC looks to contribute to the basic knowledge of both the biological and healthcare fields and aims to develop systems for computer-assisted diagnosis and therapy. The group now counts 12 research teams comprising of over 280 members.
Our radiology experts work together with the teams at TIMC to develop high performing radiology technologies that are used in hospitals around the world. This collaboration has notably driven the development of innovations in Imaging Chain Solution (ICS) and 3D software, both used in surgery.

In addition, with a stand at the event, we were also able to demonstrate our range of portable radiology products with a particular focus on our Pixium range.
The high performing technologies that Thales has produced alongside the support of TIMC demonstrates how the collaboration between healthcare professionals and industry results in the development of the best radiology innovations for both patients and end-users with new technology corresponding to real needs.
We were thrilled to be a part of such an event to celebrate the birthday of our valued partner and equally to celebrate the achievements driven by this partnership.
