What can you expect in this profession?

Manufacture, test, measure, commission, maintain and repair systems and networks. This includes, for example, information and communication systems and embedded systems.

One focus at Thales is training in microprocessor, high-frequency and railroad signal technology.

What do you need to bring?

• Secondary school leaving certificate / ideally technical college entrance qualification with good grades in mathematics and physics
• Analytical thinking and diligence
• Interest in solving technical-electronic problems
• Experience with computers
• Team spirit, open-mindedness and sociability
• Motivation, initiative and commitment
• Reliability, sense of responsibility and perseverance
• Fluent German (C1 level)

Facts and Figures

• Dual vocational training (company, training workshop, vocational school)
• Duration: 3.5 years (can be shortened to 3 years)
• Start of training: September each year
• Application deadline: about 12 months before the start of training
• Good basis for further qualification as master craftsman and technician, possibly university studies
