GAMECO and Thales Sign Agreement to Deepen Cooperation
- GAMECO and Thales signed an industrial collaboration agreement to further cooperation in MRO activities. Thales will continue providing support to GAMECO in the areas of aircraft maintenance, the procurement distribution of aviation supplies, and technical documentations and Test Program Sets (TPS).
- Both parties will keep the collaboration momentum in contributing to the high-quality development of Chinese civil aviation market with innovative products, solutions and quality services.
At the 14th Airshow China in Zhuhai, Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd. (GAMECO) and Thales signed an industrial collaboration agreement to expand their MRO cooperation on November 9th, 2022.
This agreement represents a step forward following the Commercial Letter signed by the two parties in 2021, for the purpose of cooperating on component maintenance, technical documentations, Test Program Sets (TPS) and equipment provision. Since then, Thales and GAMECO have collaborated to achieve a successful trial run in the field of MRO services.
Thales can leverage the OEM¡¯s expertise to provide GAMECO with its comprehensive aftermarket service and support, including sharing and updating of digital technical documentations, maintenance and upgrading of test program software, and direct supply of original aircraft components. With an access to Thales¡¯ responsive and reliable maintenance support, GAMECO¡¯s in-depth maintenance capacity and core competitiveness will be undoubtedly strengthened.
