Project Arduino 2016/17 has launched !
The 2016/17 edition of the Project Arduino competition is bigger and better, with more countries and universities participating than ever before. As teams across the world begin to sign up, anticipation around this year's inventions and innovations is already building!
What is Project Arduino?
The Project Arduino is a competition that takes place across university campuses, challenging students to use an Arduino (an open-source electronics prototyping platform) to build a new and innovative solution or product that fits into one of Thales鈥檚 five markets (Aerospace, Space, Transportation, Defence and Security).
Bigger and better!
Last year, six universities in the United Kingdom and the United States participated in the competition. For the 2016/17 Project Arduino competition, students from over 20 universities across the UK, US, Netherlands, France, Singapore, Hong Kong and China will participate!
A winner will be chosen in each country by a Thales jury. These winners will then go forward to an online public vote which will designate the global champion.
Now open for registration
Students can now sign up for our workshops by visiting (web site closed). Workshops will be delivered at the universities throughout October and November, where students will learn about Thales and how to use an Arduino.
