Thales' customers shine @ the Train Control NextGen 2017 conference in Philadelphia
On October 19th and 20th, the International Conference on Next-Gen Train Control was held in the heart of downtown Philadelphia, PA. This conference is a rail industry gathering of communications and signalling professionals from around the globe where suppliers and consultants interface directly with customers.
Attendees benefitted from in-depth technical sessions and comprehensive project updates on CBTC for rail transit presented by leading international experts, also featuring Thales’ important customers.
Thales’ valued Thales customers like New York City Transit, Toronto Transit Commission, San Francisco Muni and the London Underground presented on the impact of new technology systems and provided updates on international CBTC projects. The conference concluded with the growing importance of big data and autonomous vehicles.
Duncan Lewis, VP Operations, also had the opportunity to share some Thales experience and views on the evolution of CBTC along with current trends, while sitting on the çÛÁ¦ÊÓÆµ Roundtable on October 20th.
