Thales Alenia Space is the European pioneer in satellite-based navigation and has also been a collaborator on numerous NASA and ESA space exploration programs. It has been a major contributor to the International Space Station (ISS) due to its delivery of over half of the pressurized volume for the ISS including Node 3, known as “Tranquility” by NASA, with provides critical life support functionalities to the installation. It is also involved in ESA’s ATV and NASA’s Cygnus programs to supply cargo vessels which regularly resupply the ISS.
Thales Alenia Space has a Space Business Development and Sales office in Arlington, to expand its activities with the U.S. government, major U.S. aerospace contractors and primes, and emerging private space pioneers. It also supports the orbital operations of certain constellations at various facilities across the U.S.
